After an early breakfast at your lodge in Karatu or Manyara around 07:00 AM, you will depart for Tarangire National Park to begin your final safari adventure. Upon arrival, you will embark on a focused four-hour game drive through a landscape characterized by ancient baobab trees and the winding Tarangire River. This park is world-renowned for its massive elephant herds and diverse birdlife, offering a spectacular final opportunity to witness predators and grazers alike congregating near the water sources before you conclude your wildlife viewing.
Afternoon
At approximately 01:00 PM, you will enjoy a picnic lunch and check out of the park to begin your direct drive toward Arusha. The journey takes you through vibrant Maasai villages and coffee plantations, arriving at Arusha Airport in time for your flight departure to Zanzibar. As you take off, you can enjoy a final aerial view of the Great Rift Valley and the northern highlands, transitioning from the rugged safari terrain to the tropical beauty of the archipelago, with an expected arrival in the mid-afternoon.
